    Hey

I started Atkins in January and stopped around March. Around June I began eating lc again. I have been doing so since and have just tried to eat as few carbs as I can. I haven't really been counting them. I want to start the program seriously this time. But I am not sure if I should start over with the Induction or not. I feel like I have been eating around 20 carbs since June. After reading many of these forums I am afraid to start back with the Induction because everyone says not to eat too low of carbs for too long. I haven't been losing weight though.

Until this week a typical day was either an Atkins bar or shake for breakfast, turkey meat and cheese for lunch, salad, one vegetable, and a piece of meat for dinner. Dessert I would have either whip cream or a lc candy bar. Since reading on this site, I realize that I should no longer have the candy or the bars. So I have replaced the bar with eggs in the morning.

Today I have had an egg and two pieces of bacon, deviled egg for a snack, mozzerola
and tomotoe for lunch, and will have spinach and meatloaf for dinner. And maybe something little for a snack.

I was afraid that I wasn't eating enough times in the day so I have tried adding a snack in before lunch and dinner. I am not sure what else I should do or where I should start.

I also exercise about four times a week. I do have polycystic ovary syndrome and am taking glucophage for it. I am also on synthroid for my thyroid.

Does anyone have any suggestions for where I should start and how I can begin losing some of this weight? And how I can determine the amount of carbs I should be eating? Also, are the Atkins shakes off limits as well?

Thanks for any help that you can offer. I really appreciate it.

    Hello,

IMHO I wouldn't re-do induction. The one thing I can see what would be causeing all the problems is the LC bars. They are filled with hidden carbs! I would ditch them for a couple of weeks and see if that makes a difference! I would also add more veggies! You didn't mention how much water you were drinking either..but make sure your getting at least half your body weight in oz of water (I.E. if you weigh 200...then drink 100 oz of water). Not enough water can slow down or even stop a weight loss from showing it's self.

Other than that it looks pretty good
I am sure some of the others will have even more suggestions for you. But one way or another I am sure the problem can be found !

Good luck and don't give up!

ditch the bars. Test yourself with the sticks. If you test positive, raise your carbs.
