What about Diet Rite?
"Low Carb Newbies" at Low Carb Diet Support: "It is sweetened with splenda. Ithought that was the main problem with diet pop. Also I heard the carbination could effect digestion. Opinions? Theories? Anyone? V I can do this!!...." |

| JinniLynn, If you are following Atkins, he reccommends beverages sweetened with splenda. He also reccommends avoiding aspartame and caffiene. So, Diet Rite Cola is a "legal" drink on Atkins because it has no aspartame and no caffiene. As far as carbonation effecting digestion, it's probably one of those YMMV(your mileage may vary)thing, and moderation is key to many of life's indulgences.
