I have been very faithful...and currently have lost 12lbs...however I have seemed to stop dead in my tracks....I weighed in at 180 and am now at 168...my goal is 145.... Any Suggestions?

You bet they do!

Unfortunately

But, the good news is, if you stick to your woe and resist the temptation to cheat out of frustration, you'll probably see progress again fairly soon.

It's difficult to say how long it will last because there are all kinds of different factors at work. Everyone loses weight differently so you'll just have to see what group you fall in.

Some people lose really fast and never have a stall. Others lose alot at first and then slow way down. Others only lose at certain times of the month but they'll drop 4-5 pounds in 3-4 days. Still others drop a steady 2 pounds a week until they hit goal, etc.

Just hang in there. We've all hit that point.

Based on past experience, I would guess your current situation will last between 1-4 weeks. I know, that's a pretty broad range! That's how it works. It's not an exact science.

Good luck

There is the infamous "Week 3 Stall". Your body has discarded all the water attached to the glucose, and has begun to burn fat, but your weight plateaus. I found starting an exercise program at that point allowed me to continue losing. I didn't have the energy to exercise during induction.

Absolutely it happens! Don't let it bother you, just keep on going and eventually the scale will start to move again. Think of it as your body has been working sooo hard to lose that weight, its resting.
