Hi, I'm a newbie around here and am trying to find someone who is doing the Curves diet. It is somewhat like the Atkins plan but with some free foods that don't count towards your 20 carbs a day. I lost 4 pounds the first week, but the scales have been stuck since Sunday. I'm either not eating enough or eating too much...if that makes any sense! I am drinking at least 100 oz. of water everyday. My carbs are always below 20 but my calories run from 1300 - 1900! Any help will be much appreciated!

Thanks,
Kim

Just post what you eat in a day, for a few days and the low carbers who have been at it for awhile can help you out!

Breakfast: 2 eggs, 1 sausage pattie, 1 oz. cheese (0 carbs...eggs are free on this plan)

Snack: 2 beef sticks (1 carb)

Lunch: Salad with Roast Beef, Cheese, sunflower seeds, bacon bits and a few baby carrots (which are allowed on this plan also..in small portion) 11 carbs

Snack: 1 cup chicken salad (0 carbs)

Supper: 1 hamburger pattie, 1 cup green beans (4 carbs)

Snack: 1 oz cheese (0 carbs)

Total: 16 carbs / 1544 cals

Thanks Steph for the info. Heres a typical day for me. Suggestions welcome!

I am planning on starting the Curves diet tomorrow morning. I think on the into you are not suppose to have nuts (sunflower seeds) also In the book I have you count eggs and 1 carb.
I'm not sure about the carrots.

Anyway I'm just going to get started tomorrow. But my sister-n-law has lost 30 some lbs and alot of inches on this diet.
Good luck.

Congrats to your Sis-in-law Tanya and God luck to you! The Curves diet has been revised a little bit. I was also looking at an old book which is the one that you have(its a brown colored one). Our Curves here in town just got in the new revised book (its a pinkish purple one). I bought one Wednesday so that did change my eating just a tad. I think I will stop the s. seeds until Monday being that starts my 3rd week. Thanks for the info and I look forward to seeing your good results. Oh and I was down a half a pound this morning...not much but hey its better than nuttin'! LOL Keep in touch and let me know how you are doing!
