| you'll hear this time and time again.... if you want help discerning problems with your eating plan, you have to tell us what you eat =) list a couple days menu, including everything that you eat and drink. then we can take a look and see what might be happening. but we cant make suggestions without seeing those menus, cause there is no way to know whats going on without them. |

| TODAY-- BREAKFAST: 3 EGGS FRIED WITH BACON LUNCH: SIDE SALAD FROM BURGER KING W/RANCH AND A LOW CARB TORTILLA WITH MAYO AND ONE SLICE OF HAM DINNER---ILL PROBABLY HAVE SOME SORT OF MEAT WITH ZUCCINI COOKED IN BUTTER FOR BEVERAGES--TODAY I HAD A CUP OF COFFEE AND ONE BIG CUP FULL OF WATER--ITS A BIG CUP FROM CARLS JR IF THAT HELPS IN THE SIZE (WITH A BIT OF CRYSTAL LIGHT --- I DONT LIKE WATER) MY BOYFRIEND SAYS I DONT EAT ENOUGH FOOD BUT WHO KNOWS ~WENDI~ |

| I'm new and I'm sure others will have lots of info for you, but from what I see you are definately not drinking enough water!! Also, I'd stay away from the 'low carb' tortillas and anything else labeled 'low carb' at least for awhile. Go with natural foods like your eggs and bacon, or meat and zuchinni (can't remember if that's an okay vegie or not, it hasn't come up for me as an issue, but I think it is). DRINK WATER... lots. At least 10 8 oz glasses, 15 is better. If that Carl's water cup was 32 oz, you're still WAY short on your water. 315/301/150 (Started 8/17/03) |

| horsemom WELL WHILE AT WORK I ONLY DRINK 2 OF THE BIG CARLS CUPS OF WATER--I DONT LIKE IT---I DRINK A LOT OF SMALL GLASSES THROUGHOUT THE NIGHT WHEN I GET HOME AND CHUG A GOOD SIZE GLASS BEFORE BED AND WHEN I WAKE UP---DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEAS ON THE FOOD DURING INDUCTION ~WENDI~ |

| Wendi, it sounds like you're eating okay to me. You should be losing weight. Some people are just slower than others. And sometimes you go for long periods with slow or no weight loss and get a sudden "whoosh". From what you're eating, i suspect that will happen to you. Try drinking more water and hang in there. |

| Try to stay away from any of the "Low Carb foods" Breads, snacks, etc until later on. I ws eating those things and when I cut them out I dropped weight more quickly 177/162/125 LC since 8/8/03 |

| i agree with the suggestion to drop the lc tortilla. they are ok for lc but you want to wait a bit farther before adding back such things. also, make sure you check the carb count on that dressing if its the burger king kind that comes with the salad. a lot of times the fast food dressings have tons of sugar added and are pretty high carb. Erin atkins since 12/2/02 preggo and lcing! |
