Hey guys! I am in the Army and I just got done taking my first PT test since I've been on Atkins. I had a really hard time with it. I am usually able to pass really easily, but this time, I didn't.

I was unable to do pushups as well, situps, which I'm usually good at, I had muscle failure, and the run, I couldn't hardly move my legs.

Has anyone else had this problem? I have been doing Atkins for a little over 3 weeks.

Thanks for your help!

I'd have to say my first month on LC was really hard in the fitness department

It takes some time for your body to get used ot using fat as fuel instead of carbs... after that first month - I dont believe ive had any troubles

in the early months you will find (as you did) that your stamina is way down as is your strength... but you will get it back again... just hang tight.

I had a problem on a long bike ride that I initially attributed to LC woe. But, I had some stimach ailment lurking and that's what the issue was. Are you possibly ill?

Terese is correct, however, that it takes some time for your body to adjust. Sounds to me like you bonked - regular exercise should help you get used to the LC woe.
