There are lots of sugar free mints that contain only sugar alcohols. If sugar alcohols don't affect you, you're in the clear. Dentyne Ice has 2 carbs, and 2 sugar alcohols for 2 pieces. Velamints contain the same. Ice Breakers contain the same.

As silly as it may sound, because they are so miniscule, you still hafta count the carbs. A carb is a carb is a carb...whether it comes in the form of a 6-ounce lobster (2 carbs) or 1 stick of sugar-free bubblegum (2 carbs). By the way...which is the better "deal" there? If you're one of the people that sugar alcohols have no effect on, you can have gum/mints for free, or a lobster for 2 carbs. When you have no more carbs to burn, but still really want something to chew on, the gum/mints are free.

I was a mint and gum person, and I switched to the Eclipse flash strips, no carbs and minty fresh breath. Staci
