Forgot to mention in my last request, but Swiss Miss sugar free choc. drink has SPLENDA-so does this mean that a cup of hot choc. with Swiss Miss that has 10 grs. of carbs.-1 gr. of fiber and 7grs of sugar would in fact be 2 grms of total carbs.?

I saw the topic and thought you were calling me.
No, those 7 grams of sugar are from lactose and metabolize like sugar. So the net carbs on a cup would be 9 grams. The only sugars you might want to subtract from the net carbs are sugar alcohols, not plain sugars.

Man.... I was getting excited for a second. But 9 grams is too much

The swiss miss sugar free was one of those iffy items I was on the borderline of getting rid of when I started this round of low carb. I still haven't had the nerve to try one yet. I really want to though.

Why bother with swiss miss when you can mix some heavy cream, cocoa powder, splenda, and some hot water to make delicious, creamy, LOW CARB hot cocoa??

Okay, so how much of each (cream, cocoa, water, and splenda) do you use?I'm not good at figuring these things out.
