Hi Nicole,

According to my Atkins Direct Catalog, it is okay to use the syrups during induction. I just bought some of the Davinci SugarFree Vanilla Syrup last week....found it at Walmart and is cheaper than the Atkins syrup in my book(around 4 dollars). Hope this helps!

I tried a 2 of the Akins syrups, and they are a bit "thin" and watery compared to the Da Vinci line.

Also, you get a lot more for your money with Da Vinci as they come in much larger bottles.

Davinci is WAY better, and cheaper to boot!

Atkins syrups (all of them I've tried) have too much of a water base, and that's all you taste - you get a tiny hint of flavor, and then nothing..

Davinci has the same carb count (0), a wonderful flavor, and much stronger flavor.

Also, their selection of flavors (online) can't be beat.

Walmart has the SF Davinci syrups underneath, or around the coffee beans. (Generally bottom shelf under the grinders).

You can get the DaVinci syrups online too at www.davincigourmet.com - their shipping is very reasonable and they're nice people to deal with.

Netrition.com carries them as well.

I can never find anything but a few flavors locally, at Ross or Marshall's. And they're few and far between!

Has anyone ever tried mixing the creme dementhe with the chocolate in coffee with heavy cream to get kind of a minty hot cocoa flavor? If so, does it work?

The only store I've found SF Da Vinci's at in Norther California is TJ Max, though I suspect the Greenbeanz (Castor) market in Fremon would have it.

If you are going to order online, www.netrition.com has the full line of Da Vinci flavors. It's a good deal, because their shipping fee is very reasonable - only $5. Believe me, the shipping adds up fast when you are ordering heaving items like bottles of syrup.
