I haven't had not even ONE yet but I keep looking at the box and my mouth is watering BIG TIME. I keep drinking the water to keep my occupied, I know it's mind over matter, I'm not hungry. I just want the chocolate. GIVE ME STRENGTH! Hope 141/137/120 ______________________ Life is short, even on the longest days - John Mellencamp

Hang in there! It's just the Old You trying to assert power. The New You is calmer and more satisfied. Maybe you can slip to the store on your lunch break and pick up some cocoa, whipping cream, and Splenda and make some hot cocoa I just read about in the Swiss Miss thread? mmmm... Chocolate, bah. You've got a nice boss, though

You can do this! Think how miserable you'll feel if you eat one - because the insulin released into your bloodstream will be screaming for MORE, MORE! in less time than it takes to say, "I'm an ATKINS ANGEL! and I CAN and WILL resist the siren call of CHOCOLATE!" If this happens frequently, you might consider keeping a stash of the sugarfree, low carb chocolates on hand - some people have problems with the sugar alcohols, but I don't, and I can eat ONE or TWO without setting off a craving. More than that has a rather laxative effect however! Hang tough and visit here instead of eating that nasty chocolate.... Char Don't squat with yer spurs on!

You could " accidentally bump into them and spill them on the floor , then darn, they would be all dirty and you would have to throw them out, (a little darastic maybe but not beneath me) Jackie

I totally understand how you feel. Are you doing induction? This week we were celebrating the "25" years of a collegue at our workplace. There was choc brownies, cheesecake, flan and chocolates. I resisted and did not have any! I am on OWL, so I rewarded my self at the end of the day by allowing myself "one" sugar free vanilla carmel, after dinner when I was stuffed from steak and veggies. Wait it out and plan something for your self. When I hit the 10lbs lost mark I rewarded myself by getting my nails done! Sounds like another thread. Hang in there! Heidi

Thanks for the support. It's strange, he never brings food of any kind into the office and today he brings a whole box! I've actually done this WOE before, In February I was 141 pounds started this. I did it for 2-3 months with only a couple cheats. I lost 17 pounds. I had a miscarriage in May and just didn't want to eat this way after that. Since May I've tried to jump back in 2 times but just didn't have the motivation, I wasn't ready. When the scale hit 141 AGAIN, I knew it was time. So, now I'm 4 days in, 4 pounds down and as motivated as the first time I did this WOE. I know how great the results can feel. 124... no 120.... Here I come! ______________________ Life is short, even on the longest days - John Mellencamp

Hope, reward yourself TONIGHT. As soon as you get off work, head to the Red Lobster and PIG OUT ON LOBSTER!!!!!! Promise yourself that's your dinner and those chocolates will lose a lot of their appeal. Just think about how full that Lobster is going to make you feel. And if you think Lobster is not enough, get it with a steak, or shrimp, too. You'll be waddling out of that restaurant burping lobster-flavored burps all night.
