| Hi everyone, just wanted to know if we are allowed to have sugar free jello daily for dessert? i have just finished my 2 weeks induction and this is my second day of OWL YAY! I'm having Weight Watchers Jelly, and the nutrition info stated: gelatine, citric acid, sweetener (saccharin) Carb total: 0.3g Sugar: 0.1g will this be okay to have daily to replace my sweet dessert? i just started having jello on my second week of induction and i found it very good for killing my sweet cravings after dinner Do you think this is okay? any input is much appreciated! Cheers Natalia ![]() |

| You may want to consider the citric acid, some folks claim it can stall them. I'm not as familiar with how saccharin impacts weight loss, all of the SF products in the U.S., have Splenda or aspartame. It will most likely be a situation of YMMV (your mileage may vary). What works for one may not for another. Just watch how things go, if you start to crave or stall, it could be your daily Jell-O. Sometimes you can get on a roller coaster ride with those type things. The more you eat, the more your body will crave it. Use good judgement. HTH, Susan PS: Make sure you're getting enough fat in your menu, it's key to keeping your appetite satisfied. | Hi Susan, what do you mean by a desert staple? sorry i'm not familiar with the term is that mean your family eat sf jello regularly? i have been eating it daily ever since i finished induction 4 days ago...so i'll see if this will affect my weight loss on my week 3 weigh-in time |

| If you check out the thread in our cooking forum you'll see the recipe for a jello dessert with cream cheese and sour cream. I like making it like this as it 1) gives you fat to help satisfy your appetite and 2) it spreads out the citric acid and aspartame over more servings so if it does affect you there won't be as great an impact. Oh, and it is yummy! Connie |
