Tell me if these things are bad. I have been doing this diet for about a month. I drink ice tea for dinner with Splenda (someone told me this was fine.) and I drink "sugar free" Kool-Aid and sometimes for dessert I have the "sugar free" Jello cups.

Also, how do you know if you should eat hot dogs, etc. I just look to see if they have low carbs and if they do I consider them fine.

I lost 8 pounds the first week, (which was kind of scary) and then I have lost about three pounds a week since then. Tomorrow is my weigh day.

Thanks for the help.

The sugar free drinks are fine, but you should limit them in quantity - most of what you drink should be pure water.

Hot dogs are another "ok once in awhile" thing - they're processed, and loaded with sodium.

Better to stick with natural foods as much as possible, and use the others when you're in a pinch...

I completely agree with Shrink, hotdogs should be a "special occasion" meal..imagine that- who ever thought hotdogs would be for special occasions?? HA, go figure
I love sugar free jello and eat it every night as a snack and have had no probs with it.But remeber that everyone is different.
Good luck, sounds like your doing great.

Hot dogs are fine. If you're in induction, remember to count the carbs. What are they, one carb per dog?
