You can drink them in moderation - aspartame can stall some people, as can caffeine. Water should still be your main staple.

I buy Kool-Aid (the kind that you put too much sugar in). BUT I DON'T put sugar in it I use 2 pkts of Splenda instead. It works for me and only the Splenda has the carbs. Enjoy

First of all I only drink decaf when it comes to tea or coffee (my exception is chai because I've never seen it in decaf). I used to be a latte addict and it's been difficult to find a nice comforting replacement in the middle of the afternoon. I played around a little bit with ingredients and came up with a tasty vanilla chai latte. I start with a chai teabag and hot water, add a packet of Splenda, dash of vanilla extract, dash of white pepper, and cream. Mmmmm. I also like the Extra Lean So-Be cranberry/grapefruit drink and the diet peach tea (both are aspartame free). For dinner I pour them in a fancy goblet and add soda water. When I get really bored with my diet, I go all out with dinner = fancy china, crystal goblets, candles and peaceful music. It really helps my attitude .

Cool Gracie! That sounds great. I sometimes pour whatever I'm drinking in a fancy glass too, it really makes it feel special. Especially when I have a rootbeer float with diet rootbeer and heavy cream. Yummy!

Cin - To save carbs on your kool aid drink, you might consider buying some sugar free syrups. They come in various flavors (and Nature's Flavors sells a non-flavor one) and they have zero carbs. They use liquid splenda instead of powdered so they don't have to add the bulking agents which give the packets their carbs. Check it out.
