I've read some posts but don't get it...can someone explain? Is this good?

I believe that it is a term for when you suddenly lose weight, almost overnight. People say "the whoosh fairy" visited me and I lost 3 pounds...or I had a "whoosh" today and lost 2 pounds.
Just a silly term for a fast loss
