I'm just starting the OWL....I'll start completely on Monday.. .anyway, had a few almonds yesterday as a snack (YUMMY!!) and not even an hour later my stomach started to hurt. Just wondering if this was because of the almonds.. if so, I'm taking that as I sign that I moving onto the next stage at just the perfect time...

I'm curious too as to what other types of food you guys have had to adjust to after moving from induction?? I know I can't wait to start eating fruit again.

I am still in induction so I don't have any advice, but I wanted to add that I can't wait to eat some fruit especially blueberries! If only I could have a big fluffy pancake too!

The Atkins lowcarb pancake mix is actually pretty good. Something to look forward to I still have to be careful wiih cream cheese - it has an unfortunate effect on my digestive system if I eat too much.

First thing I added after induction was strawberries. I tried adding nuts but found I couldn't keep them in the house without a major binge. There is a recipe in the files on this site for real pancakes which I love. They have about 7.5 grams carbs per 2 pancakes. But your best bet for the first 5 carb grams added are veggies. Have some extra veggies in your salad.
