 Hi Everyone! My name is Mary. I just had a baby in June and after months of putting off going on a diet I have decided to try the Atkins. I started 12 days ago and it is going great so far. I have lost about 11 pounds and I am now down to my pre-pregnancy weight. I still have about 14 more to reach my goal, but I am very excited about this! I can't wait to get to know everyone. Seems like there is some great advice on this board.  |

| Hi Mary! Welcome aboard! I had a baby in August of this year and I'm still trying to get back to my prepregnancy weight. Sounds like you are doing awesome. Hope you enjoy it here and you will find that there is a lot supportive and very helpful people. Take care Laurie |

| Welcome! I too have reached pre-pregnancy weight. Not only for my son in February 2003, but for my daughter from April 2001! My OB/GYN was impressed, he said only 5% of new mothers ever get below pre-pregnancy weight. I felt lucky to be apart of that 5% - even if it was at 207 lb.! 60 more to go! Enjoy your baby!
