I too am on Day 8 of induction. Lost 10-lbs...having no trouble with this woe...and after 2nd day wasn't even hungry. BUT THIS MORNING OH MY!!!! Had leftover lamb, 2 celery sticks and some pork rinds for breakfast...couldn't seem to get enough! Came home, and fried 2 eggs with bacon and salad. This worries me a little because I haven 't been hungry! Also I had 50 ounces of water before 9am, so that couldn't be it...What's going on. Could it be because I was a little low on the carbs yesterday? Nothing else has changed. No TOM, no new meds....hmmmmmmmmm. Any ideas, or is this normal?

PS>>>>I was also quite sleepy this morning after getting a good nights sleep...used to only get sleepy after a full carb binge!

Gertie, a lot of us experience a few ravenous hunger days during our pre-menstrual week. Could that be the case for you? If so, eat when you need to and know it'l be over in 1-2 days.

Well then, another possible cause is a couple of days of not eating enough fat. In my experience that's always followed by increased hunger.

BTW, if you're hungry, eat some extra LC veggies too. They'll help fill you up a bit more.

I have noticed that I am RAVENOUS every once in awhile. So on those days, I eat as much as I need to. I don't worry about it at all. It MAY have something to do with the amount of fat I've had. I find that when I eat something with fat in it in the morning, I stay pretty steady.

Thanks everyone...Come to think of it, usually I take chicken or tuna salad with MAYO...And an oz of cheese...so maybe the mayo gave me that full feeling...I'll tweak tomorrow...(maybe lamb with mayo!
