... which makes this plan a whole heck of a lot easier for me. The problem is, it took me four months to lose 34 pounds, while he lost 13 in one week. It just plain isn't fair!

On the good side, he's been checking in on the Atkins site, reading the book, finding recipes, and grocery shopping. He even cooks dinner once in a while.

Ya gotta love this WOL!

LOL Hey consider yourself lucky to have a man who'll cook. Isn't it nice now that you have Team work?

Men tend to do better on induction than women.
That's just the way it goes I guess.
But don't compare yourself to him. 34 pounds is a LOT of weight to lose. Congratulations.

Yep, ditto. Don't compare yourself to him. Men lose much FASTER than women. So stay YOUR course and lose YOUR weight in due time. It is FANTASTIC you 2 are doing this together, you are soooooooo lucky to have an in-the-house partner on this. That is great!!!! Hats off to hubby!!!!!

Beansmom - I don't think we're married to the same man ... but if yours is as terrific as mine is, good for you!

It was a little hard for me before, because he was still eating all the stuff I couldn't, but when he saw my resolve (and success) he decided to join the bandwagon. By next summer we are gonna be two of the healthiest and sexiest old farts you ever saw!
