Wonder if someone could post a link / the conversion between lbs and stones?

I'm from the UK and work in stones and ounces and all the weights I see on here are in lbs, which mean nothing to me!

Has anyone got a handy website where I can convert lbs to stones & ounces?

Thanks.

also 16 ozs equals 1 pound
never heard of stones?? isnt that odd how things are figured out differently from there to here in the US?? European countries use the metric system and in the states we use standards. I dont have much of a clue about metrics..except for milliliters grams kilograms milograms....because I work in a Pharmacy...Other than that forget it.... I only know the standards systems.....
Oh well hope this helped....

Ahhh...so divide everything by 14...! Cheers!

Weights & measures are bizarre. A US gallon is actually bigger than a UK gallon, despite being called the same....Helpful, huh?
