Kristi as you up your carb levels your appetite should get slightly better. But is that a Good thing? The great thing about this woe is not being hungry. How many net carbs are you currently allowed. Rob 310/241/180

i too had trouble eating three meals. once i realized that i actually lost weight more consistently with the three meals than without, i made it a point to fit them in. make them smaller meals or even a snack type meal for lunch. christine 166/147/120 L/C 8/04/03

Yes, the lack of appetite in the early stages of this woe (way of eating) is both a blessing and a curse. On the one hand, it's nice not to be ravenous all the time like we were on low-fat, but it can make eating regularly difficult. Rob is right that your appetite will pick up some after you move past induction... but in the meantime, Christine's answer holds the key. If you continue to eat less than 3 meals a day (and minimal calories), then you will eventually send your body into *starvation mode* and this will not only stall your weight loss NOW, but could affect your metabolism long-term. The thought of that was deterrent enough for me to find ways to make myself eat. And if you are sick of eggs, lay off of them for a while (pun intended). You just have to learn to think *outside the box*. Many of us don't eat just *breakfast food* for breakfast. I have been known to have a leftover steak or chicken breast for breakfast and this actually keeps me more satisfied than eggs. Hang in there; You are doing great! Summer www.herstorygirl.com
