I am so bummed out this is the fourth time starting Atkins, this is the best I have ever done. I've been on it for two weeks straight w/ out any desire to cheat! But, I can't lose any weight. Does anyone have any recs for "jumpstarting" my weight loss; yes I do excercise. Any advice would be great. Thanks

It would be beneficial to post up your menus to see what's going on and where those hidden carbs are lurking.

Are you drinking enough water (3 - 4 litres a day) and eating enough vegetables?

Another thing - if you're eating the low carb bars, don't. They are full of sugars, which can cause stalling or sometimes even weight gain.

Good luck!

Thill - have you lost inches? I would take your measurements - sometimes you can lose inches and no pounds.

Thill, when I ate ham I noticed I was not losing and actually went up a pound or two. I figured it was the sodium. You may want to try changing your breakfast meat and see what happens.

Welcome back to Adkins. This is the time you are going to be very successful .

Check your diet for hidden carbs such as sugar alcohols. Are you drinking anything sweetened with Aspartame? Some people don't lose if they use it. Also, you might want to pick up some ketoskix, or metabostix (depending on brand name) to see if you are in ketosis. Typically, if you are - then it's only a matter of time before you'll see the decline on the scales! Stay focused and drink lots of water! Good Luck!
