Hello! I'm starting this wol today, NOV. 23, 2003. I'm currently at 169.5 and should get to around 120 (only 5'4", small frame). I'm 40, will be 41 on New Year's Eve so I have some real motivation to get healthy and slimmer as the years pass by. Due to a couple breast cancer scares, the dr. has really encouraged me to lose weight, exercise and he is a supporter of low carb! It helps to have my medical professional support this. I hear too often of successful losers whose dr.s hassle them over their choice of low carb.

It's been very encouraging to read here this morning. I'm glad I found you all!
