| I have been on this diet now since October 19th 2003. Im very new to this diet. I been doing the diet faithfully and was loseing very little weight. I was becoming very discouraged. I couldnt understand why. I started to think and think about what I could be doing wronge. I have the Atkins books and read them often. I knew it said that you shouldnt drink while in the first stages of the diet if not at all but i thought to myself what would a glass or two of wine hurt sometimes after work? After all it had no sugar and very little if any carbs. Well i just couldnt seem to see the weight that everybody talks about coming off. I was beinning to think this diet was not going to work for me, so i decided to stop having wine all together just to see if maybe the wine had something to do with my poor weight lose results. I must be honest it wasnt long at all till my weight started to really come off!!! I was so surprised!! I still know I have a ways to go and im not sure if it was the wine but i do know the weight is coming off now. After i stopped drinking the wine i quickly lost 12 pounds!! Im so excited!! I feel great and I look forward to getting on the scale now!! Thanks for this GREAT website and I hope to make some lowcarbeating.com friends. Nicole |
