I use to think they did use bread fillers, but I went to there web site and it says they use 100% beef. So as far as I am concerned it is ok as long as you ditch the bun, onions, and ketchup! I do think they use american cheese slices so you may or may not want cheese on it. I would also order a salad to go with that burger!

Yup... burgers sans bun... Mmmmmm... I think I might have one tonight.

The best deals usually come from greasy-spoon hamburger joints. They use cheap meat, but they give you plenty of it. I always ask for grilled onions on it.

Hey Rob,
Is making tunip fries the same as making potato fries? How do you do it? Do you know the carb count?
I am going insane for Mcdonalds fries!!! I don't crave sweets. I could go without something sweet forever as long as I have my SF gum, but oh boy do I crave starch! I want potatos and gravy and bread and chips.... I haven't cheated yet though except for T day I had a bite or two of my Aunts cornbread dressing.

you guys have me drooling over here!

Rob I am curious about the turnip fries also. Never tasted a turnip but I sure can go for the fries! How do you cook them and do they taste similar to a potatoe?

Blessings,

Carol

Turnip fries are YUMMY!!!!! Just cut them julienne style (get ready for some calorie burning, cuz it's hard work,LOL) Fry them in lite olive oil 'til browned. They won't crisp up like regular fries, but they are YUMMY!!!! They will shrink in size too, so make a lot. And how 'bout a side of Atkin's Ketcha Tomato sauce?????? ( or make your own with tomato sauce, vinegar, spices, a teeny bit of pureed onion, pinch of salt, dash of wordestershire, and splenda.) Not sure what the carb count is.....just a minute, I'll look it up......according to my book: 1 large = 11.4 carbs and 11.4 fiber, so.............FREE FOOD!!!!! WOOOHOOO!!!!
