It won't hurt anything that's for sure. Try Sugar- Free Metamcil if you want that kind of stuff. If you would rather improve things with foods, try some of the flax products.

Be sure you drink the water. It's good for the elimination problem and is needed to keep the diet working right.

Yep that's the ticket...........FLAXMEAL!!!!! It's a free food and makes things taste kinda bready. For instance, Mock Danish Ala Fibre.....3 oz. Cream Cheese, 1 egg, vanilla or whatever flavoring you like, a dash of cinnamon, 2-3 packets of splenda and 1 TBS. of flaxmeal. Warm the cream cheese in the microwave for about 30 seconds, add the egg and mix well, add sweetener and flavoring and flaxmeal and mix well. Cook in microwave for 2 mins. Let it cool a tad and ENJOY!!!! Drink 8 ounces of water with this to hydrate the flax fiber. This always does the trick for me along with the other fibery veggies I eat throughout the day. Keeps the plummin' hummin'

You could always try Maggies Cereal

I was eating it everyday but had to stop because it was making my plumbing hum to much! I was getting stomach cramps as well. I love the cereal but now just eat it once a week.

My Advice is:
I use it as a sign that I need to hit the veggies more. I live in the fast lane and tend to grab handy fast "good Low Carb" food ie. chicken, can tuna, beef sticks, chesses and so on. Well when this happens I buy a handy bag of baby spinach and when I walk by the frig. I munch on a few leaves the dark green veggies are so good for us. I make my salads with it and maybe eat can spinach but it has to much sodium for my profile. I have to watch it although since I have been eating Lowcarb it has helped my retaining fluid, amazing. Also after several weeks on this WOE you will see a real difference in your bowel activity it gets better. So actually since I have been living with this WOE lifestyle my health has improved all around. It just takes knowing yourself and what YOU need and leading the way by sharing your ideas with us by posting and visiting this site for help and encouragement.
Blessings!
