Hello everyone !

I need help with a x-mas gift. I want to buy my Aunt a low carb cook book. I'm sure there are many but I'm wondering if someone could recommend one.

Also, I wanted to share a few things . I'm now down 10 lbs. I feel better than ever. I was worried about getting through my exams with the headaches but they left ! I'm so happy and I feel great! I just hope I can get through the Holidays without cheating .Also, I found out some inside scoop on Subway. I have a family member that owns a few stores and in the new year they are going to announce their new "low carb menu" quite bizzare I think , considering they have been advertising "low fat" forever. Maybe they know something that we know

Thanks again for your support.

Happy Holidays Everyone !

That's funny !
I guess it's evident that I'm a newbie. I do hope I can buy this book at chapters.

Thanks
Sara

I believe so. I'm not sure if it has hit the Canadian market yet. You might want to give them a call!

I just went out and got it tonight. It looks like a good book, and the price is right, too. My daughter is visiting from college and she wants to start Atkins too, so having some recipes will be fun.

Sharron,
I looked for your book to give to my DH for Christmas. (he likes to cook...his family isn't to fond of it though!)
Anyway, I couldn't find it at the 2 places I looked. It must be sold out. So I bought a different LC cookbook. ***Ducking as you throw something at me***

Don't worry though; It is going back! It was total crap! I won't give out the title but it did have low carb in it. If stew with potatoes and bread on the side is LC then why haven't I been eating them???? It said serves 8, 23 carbs per serving! Are they nuts?? Lots of those recipes followed. All of them range between 10 and 25 carbs per serving. (maybe more but that was the highest I saw)

So I think I will give DH a card with the receipt from Amazon.com for your book in it. It may get here before the new year.
