| I've been waiting on this. Crazy as it sounds. I 've been drinking approx 132-165 everyday and I've read that that will curb it a little. Well, I've been slacking this morning and I caught a whiff and realized I needed to step it up and get more water this morning. Another thing, has anyone noticed the change of color in urine or is it just me? I know the ketones are released here but I thought it was just in smell. Oh yeah I ate cabbage for the first time last night sans ketchup for the FIRST time EVER in my life I'm 25 and have NEVER done that. My sister thought I'd bumped my head. She eats hers the same way I do. I know....it's strange. Godspeed |

| Congratulations on ditching the ketchup, and I see you're trying hard to expand your veggie repertoire too - good for you. You mentioned in another post that you had asparagus for dinner yesterday, and that will definitely affect the color and smell of urine, as will some vitamins, and ketosis itself. It sounds like you're doing great with the water, which is very important, so keep that up. And don't be afraid to try those sugar-free breath strips if necessary - you don't want to be knocking people over. You're off to a terrific start - best wishes! You're right I do need to get some of those breath mints to keep on hand. I didn't eat the asparagus though. I had a bite and Just couldn't eat anymore. It just wasn't for me unfortunately! I wish I were one of those people that grew up eating a lot of veggies in the first place!! Thanks for the words Sky! Godspeed |
