Just yesterday I had made up my mind I was going to go back on my low carb plan. I found this website by accident while searching for low carb recipies. This is just what I need to keep me going! I've been reading your site for hours. One of my biggest problems is that I'm a stress eater. Any suggestions for control?

I'm on board for the Valentine's challenge.

1. you USED to be a stress eater, but you aren't any more.

2. you now find ways to manage and reduce your stress.

3. you've found ways to REPLACE eating with some other behavior.

4. You speak what you want.

And seriously, I and many others have found that being here really can get you through the rough spots/carb cravings.

You are going to make it! Hang in with us, and keep on posting.

Welcome JenMarie!

I find a cup of tea, regular or herbal, relieves my stress. If you must chew something get some celery sticks or have an extra salad.

Thanks so much for your responses. This is day 2 for me and my scale reading was favorable. I took measurements this a.m. as I didn't do it yesterday. Soooo here we go.
Wishing everyone a safe New Year's Eve.

Welcome Jen Marie

I used to be a stress eater, too, before I went LC. That has changed dramatically since I started LC. It's amazing what stable blood sugar levels will do for you. Good Luck!

I'm STILL a stress eater. I'm just a stress eater who weighs less because I eat legal foods when I'm stressed.

It's so encouraging to read notes from some of the people who have been on this WOE for a year or more. I can't wait to be the thin me again.
Also, is there a key somewhere for the abbreviations? I'm guessing WOE stands for "way of eating".
