I'm amidst the days of Induction and I am wondering how much water I should be taking in. The first number I heard was 2 gallons per day, but a general number like that seems a bit suspicious. Then after reading a few books, I came across the number "1 oz for every 1/2 pound of your weight" per day. I'm just not sure if either of these are right...anyone know?

Yes, the latter is the standard.

So, your ounces would be 117/day.

Good luck!!!

Yes, at least 1/2 your body weight in ounces per day.
However, I drink no less than 128 oz. (1 gallon per day) and this is perfect for me.

I think 2 gallons is WAY, WAY too much for most people.
Have you read the *sticky thread* at the top of the newbies forum titled, "Drink Your Water!" ?
Also, if you are drinking more water now (and you should be while following this way of eating), please increase your water intake gradually; do NOT guzzle large quantities all at once in an effort to get your water in! Sip it throughout the day...

Trust me! If you drink all your water at night or in large amounts, you will wake up the next day with a headache that you will want to die from!! Sip throughout the day!! I use a straw it really helps.
