I don't know if it is allowed per se, but I used it during induction. I use Chocolate Soy Slender sweetened with Splenda. mmm mmm good!!!! in my coffee. Remember to count the carbs.

That's a good question. I don't know the glycemic index on it. The carb count is nice and low, though, so you might be able to give it a shot and let us know how it works.
