| That is indeed correct for the labels of foods packaged for sale in the USA. I have seen some European packaging that lists effective carbs as "Carbohydrate" and fiber as "Fiber"...in other words, they've done the subtracting for you. A sure sign of this is if the fiber count is higher than the carbs (or else they're just really, really wrong.) http://laurelyn.home.comcast.net/lowcarb/ |
