eating sausage and the sugar in it. Got me to thinking about MY sausage. I never read the label because I thought sausage (a meat) a free food! I called my BF at home and asked him to read the label of the sausage. LO AND FREAKIN' BEHOLD!!! It's got dextrose and corn syrup!!!! I eat these things almost EVERY morning!! I told him to throw them away. So they're probably in the trash right now and he's probably happy because he doesn't eat pork anyways! Is this why my weight loss is so slow?? I just want to start all over again! I'm just going to go move to a farm get 2 cows, 2 lambs, 2 chickens, 2 goats, of the opposite sex. I'm going to have a lake and fill it with salmon, tuna, and other fish (hopefully they won't eat each other) and make a garden import some nut trees and legal fruit trees and get my food from there!!! Can't win for losing! and I know read labels read labels read labels. Just didn't think about having to read it on a known 'legal' food. Are there any labels for vegetables...bet those are hiding something too! Arg.

As I just wrote on the other sausage thread, you never know what's going to be in them. Sausage could have almost anything in it!

Yours was the one I read that made me think about checking what the heck is in MY sausage. Thank you for that. I eat it almost EVERYDAY. AT LEAST 5 days out of the week! That is crazy. Now I have to find something to substitute it with! I'm glad I didn't buy any yesterday when I went grocery shopping! I'd be taking it back today! hahahaha Guess I'll stick to chicken from now on!

One of the most frustrating things is that I swear they put extra sugar in EVERYTHING!!!!! No wonder everyone is addicted...and it isn't like it doesn't taste good without it,either....I am thinking it is an evil plot to get us all addicted to the sugar and flour and keep em in business! lol

CHeck out different brands and different flavours. There are some out there without sugar in them.
Another option is to buy loose sausage from a butcher. They almost always have the kind with no fillers or sugars (you may not want to ask what body parts are in there though )
