I don't eat nothing...I mean nothing at all that have pork in it(I read every label), but on my Two Week Induction Plan ( I start this Monday) there is PORK mention on some of the meals. Also , on this site I see a few mentions of pork rinds, sausages. I am going to start my Atkins, but I'll rather not eat any swine. Can I substitue?

Rap thats ok if you dont want to eat pork. Just keep your eating on chicken, fish, beef. You dont need to eat pork rinds...you can just eat say celery for now. When you get past induction you can do a few other things. Atkins book has alot of info in it and if you have his book its full of good info. Also in this Newbie and induction place there is a TON of info you can go back and look at. This is where I stayed for about 4-6 weeks

Blessings,

Carol

Thanks Carol,

I do have the book, and all the recipes are great. It's just that I want to do so good, and following every thing to the letter to make it work.

10 year in the Military, and I am acting like a baby.

Thanks again for the support.

Nahhhhh, Rap you aren't acting like a baby. You are just a newbie. Afterwhile you'll get the hang of this.

And by ALL means, you don't have to eat any pork at all. Just substitute the other meats you do eat, simple as that!!!

Read labels though if you are going to do anything like turkey bacon or turkey sausage. I suspect that they may add sugars to the ingredients. Just a heads up.
