| Has anyone else experienced nausea during induction? Ugh - I am to the point where nothing sounds good to me. Not meat, cheese, especially eggs. Kristie |

| I did very mildly, only when I didn't eat for quite a few hours, and my stomach got sour. 168/161/115 |

| Kristie, I did the first three days, to the point where I felt like vomiting! Here was my trick to get over it... Take your daily vitamin after you eat, so it does not immediately get the attention of the enzymes and other cool things in yout stomach. Drink some water right before eating and right after eating. Make sure you start your day out with a lot of protein and some veggies. This may not work for you but man I was feeling pretty crappy and it worked for me :-) I am just about done with induction day #5 and I am feeling great! Let me know if it helps. Thanks! | In the morning I have had omelets with ham and veggies, snacks are usually celery and dip or some cucumbers, peppers or deviled eggs. Supper a protein, salad, and veggie. I have been drinking about 8 glasses of water a day. I hate the taste of my vitamin (liquid) but it doesn't make me queasy (that I am aware of). I think maybe my system is not use to this WOE. I don't just get a little queasy, I am miserable. YUCK. I will try the water before and after meals. Maybe more protein will help. But honestly, the thought of an egg or a piece of meat makes me want to gag right now. Oh bother Kristie |

| I am on day 7 and I am still feeling like crap and I know it is because of a lack of veggies. I feel weak and can hardly function. Nothing sounds good to me foodwise either. I know it is bad but I never ate until 9pm this evening and then ended up having some cookies. I cannot believe I blew it already. I got through 2 weeks of induction last time, with no problems past the two or three days at the beginning. I am dissappointed in myself for starting when I had no food in the house (no money=no food for awhile) Student loans payments and two car accidents in the last two weeks have drained our funds. I am on limited veggies, finished off the cheese (I get sick thinkng about cheese now) I have lost 5 lbs but I am scared to see the scale tomorrow, maybe I will just avoid it for now. And tomorrow we are going away since my BF's mom is in the hospital so I hope I can keep everyting LC. We'll see how everything goes. everyone else keep up the great work! ~Steph 5'0" 155/150/115 |
