Oooo, how fun, Kristie! Yes, this can be normal for induction - just keep in mind that your weight loss will slow down after induction. In the meantime, YIPPEEE

I'm embarrassed by my weight, but since I am here with friends, I'll do it too! Thanks!

Kristie. Don't be embarressed by your weight. It doesn't define who you are! You are among friends who are in your same boat. You are who you are based on your heart and soul not by your outer package.

And no one says you need to post your weight.
I don't post mine.

Kristie, I can't stand it, so much good news in one day. My g-friend called to tell me her daughter had a baby girl on Tues. and now this!!!! WOOOOOHOOOOO I really want to literally jump up and down!!!!! How exciting, you must be on cloud nine.

And yes, we are ALL friends here. No need for embarassment at all. Like Becca says, you don't HAVE to post your weight if you don't want to. But I get such a thrill seeing others' numbers going down, so I of course would like to see everyone's numbers, but that's entirely up to you!!!!! WOOOOHOOOOO!!!!!

Krisie W.

Isin't the first step in fixing a problem admitting you have one?

Personally i think by posting your weight (amongst friends) it would be good therapy for you!

It will also be good to see the number change and keep updating it. I just updated my figure for the first time - 11 pounds down.

AND BOY DID IT FEEL GOOD.

Goodluck dear

Kristie,

You're not seeing things!
Yes, the numbers *can* move that fast on this woe (way of eating). A lot of that is water to begin with, but that counts, too. Don't let anyone tell you it doesn't!
After the first 5-6 pounds, everything else is basically fat.
I had an awesome induction period! My loss went something like this:
Week One: 7 pounds
Week Two: 6 pounds
Week Three: NOTHING
Week Four: 2 pounds
and so on...
Weight loss slows way down after induction (and after your body adjusts to this woe), but that is a *good* thing. If we kept losing at the above rates, we would all have *elephant skin* hanging off of us! LOL
Slower weight loss is more permanent and gives our skin time to readjust.
But enjoy the induction weight loss while it lasts!!!
Congratulations,

Summer
