Not sure if this is from being in induction or not, but for the past week or so, since I started Atkins, I have a heck of a time falling asleep. So yesterday, I stayed under 20 carbs, and my hubby got me a Michelobe Ultra, and I only drank half, not a big drinker here obviously, lol, and I slept like a baby. How bad was drinking that since I'm on induction? If I have to stay on induction for an extra week, it was worth it

Your body is adjusting - better sleep won't be too far down the road. As far as alcohol goes, just remember that alcohol is free energy for your body - it's the first to be burnt, rather than the fat you want to be burning. After induction you can introduce alcohol periodically. I drink a wide variety of alcohol and it has not slowed down my weight loss. Best to wait til after induction though, and experiment. Alcohol is a YMMV thing. (Your Mileage May Vary)

As much as possible you do want to avoid liquor on induction. But with that being said, I COMPLETELY understand the not sleeping issue. My doctor said it's really a matter of the body adjusting to a higher metabolism.

I've found that a cup of warm turkey broth before bed is very helpful!!
