Decaf Coffee with a splash of half and half is ok during induction right? I counted the half and half, but do not have my book here to confirm.

Good morning. I believe half and half has a bit more carbs than heavey cream because it has milk in it. I am fairly new to induction, but I'm sure one of the veterans will concur.

Yes, half and half is fine as long as you keep a tally of the carbs. As sk8ersma said there's a little more carb in 1/2 & 1/2 than heavy cream but in one cup of coffee it's not significant.

Me, a skeptic? I trust you have proof.

Im trying to ween myself off of Dunkin Donuts large coffee with cream and sugar that I used to have EVERY morning for the last year. Talk about weight gain.... good heavens, just cutting that out has me less groggy and more focused at work despite the fact that I am drinking decaf with no sugar or any sweetener and a dash of half and half. I'll use heavy creme tomorrow, that will be good!!!
