Are Atkins shakes recommended on induction?
I have seen conflicting info on this... but I have about 6 carbs left and I am pretty hungry so I thought I would have some brocolli and a nice atkins shake :-)

I looked on the website, and I believe it is allowed. However, maybe some veterans could reconfirm this. The shakes work for me in the evenings when the family is having their "treats".

I wouldn't do the shakes during induction. If your weight loss begins to slow or stall, the culprit could be the shakes. My advice, use them sparingly.

On the other hand, I use them occasionally and don't find that they stall me at all. In fact, when I do them I drop a bit. I just don't do the bars..........those stall me big time.
