Hi,

I'm posting this under my wife's account, but I am a second year medical student who believes in the science behind it and have been on the Atkins for awhile now, have lost a fair amount of weight, and wanted to answer a question that has been posted frequently lately...

WHERE CAN I GET RELIABLE (BUT CHEAP) KETOSIS STRIPS?

Well, I have bought several bottles of them on EBAY and have had very good luck with them. They are $15 for 25 at the local wal-mart/GNC and other retailers, but I buy them on eBay for ~ $7.00 for 100 (saving > 700% off of retail). And they work really WELL...

The brand I always buy is called URISCAN and they have degrees of color change to truly test your degree of Ketosis.

Below is a link to a great seller that I usually buy from. If it has ended, s/he will have more for sale soon. Just click on "View seller's other items" below the ID of the seller (verno8000)

**WEBMASTER's EDIT - nope, no ebay links allowed. sorry. if they want to pay for ads, I'll send them my rate card.***

Good luck.

I'm going to be taking some time this evening to share some facts about the diet that I've learned while in Medical School.

Thanks again!!!!

Pristine,

Welcome to the site! Look forward to seeing what you have learned in med school about the plan. I have been a medical transcriptionist for 24 years and I really believe in the science behind Atkins. It just makes sense.

I also like the Uriscan brand. My local LC store carries them for 9.99 per 100, so I guess that's pretty good, although not as good as eBAY, evidently.
