Well.......I'm not an employed teacher. I have an expired certificate K-12. But teaching is definitely in my blood. I also have a bachelor's in Speech Pathology. It's a long story, but I never ended up getting a teaching job. I did a lot of subbing, teacher assisting and daycare. Now I'm out of the loop. I spent my "good" years raising 5 kids. Some of which, step-kids, had some MAJOR problems. I'll fill you in at lunch on Monday.

Oh,..... maybe there's a Cost Plus in Elgin, which Ilse would know. She's the shopper of the bunch.

Kerry - I am glad you found the syrups. Have you tried them yet? I looked in the coffee section at two grocery stores and our super walmart and they didn't have them.

Barb - Looking foward to hearing all the details!!

Peace, Joanna

I was so worried about the fiber thing when I first started induction. I used the sugar free orange flavored stuff for a couple of weeks and it didn't really seem to make a difference, and it does have some carbs. I decided that I just needed to let nature take its course, that my body needed to get used to this new way of eating. What was normal before I started the low carb diet isn't normal for me now. I just don't worry about it and everything works out in the end.

Sorry...had to go for the cheap laugh.

It comes in a box) Did I mention the best part - 1g net carbs per cup!

Thanks, I will look for it next time I go to the market. I will also pass it on to my mom. She is low carbing too and really misses milk.

Barb Keith:
Thanks too. I have looked for it, but have not found the carb countdown milk. They don't have it in my store yet.
