I need some help. I have fallen off this WOE the past two days and feel just miserable about myself. I am restarting induction tomorrow. That's the beauty of this WOE...you can start over when you need to. I have a question about the induction menu...I will post what I plan to eat for tomorrow...please advise if this is acceptable. I believe that it is but I guess I just need the reassurance...

Breakfast:
2 eggs scrambled w/2 pieces of cheese
2 cups of decaf coffee w/1 Splenda each and some cream

Lunch:
Spinach salad with radishes, water chestnuts and ranch dressing

Dinner:
Pork chops baked with a bit of butter, S&P to taste and some worcestershire sauce
1 cup of fresh green beans with melted butter

In between, LOTS of water and maybe a snack of some pepper jack cheese.

What do you think? Acceptable for induction?? I appreciate all the advice and support you can give!

I think it depends on how quickly you'll lose--the cheese can become a problem if you eat too much. Some people have to really watch it. Also, I'm not sure about the Worchestershire sauce. How many carbs/sugar?

It all looks pretty good, though.

Count the worcestershire sauce as 1 g per teaspoon. A quick overview of your menu looks good. I would add a small protein at lunch to keep you satisfied longer. Also another serving of high fiber veggies could be good since it looks like you have a few carbs left in your allowance of 20, I could be wrong. Do you use a food tracker like www.fitday.com ? But if you are getting in your 20 carbs according to whatever method you use to keep track, your menu looks right on.

Ditto what Rob said about the protein at lunch. Ditch the Worchestershire sauce if you find that you'e not losing, as it contains sugar. I'd up my veggies to at least 3 cups per day (like cucumbers, celery, radishes, green peppers, spinach, lettuce, broccoli, green beans, et cetera) and limit yourself to 4 ounces of cheese per day (the aged kind...nothing pasturized or processed).

My two cents...
