Actually looking at my diet summary I generally consume more fat then protein but not every day (all days when I was 20 carbs or less). I actually no longer worry about my fat it comes in where ever it is. I do try and watch my proteins since that is something you need.

Looking at all my last years data. I did a lot more than 20 carbs per day before the proteins were more than the fats.

Interesting fact about my diet. I eat lots of veggies also.

I can remember vividly my first time. I didn't read the whole book. I just start with Chapter 11. I could not figure out how anyone could do only 20 (gross) carbs a day. Also I eat lots of veggies so this really made it worse.

So don't worry we have all ask lots of questions and laugh about our personal mistakes as we go along.

In looking at my past few weeks on FitDay, here are my ratios, on average:

Fat 63%
Carbs 6%
Protein 31%

Most days are right around there. I was worried about the percentage of fat to begin with, but that's only about 1600 calories a day and it seems to be working okay.

A couple of threads you might want to look at:
Why your cholesterol WILL improve...

Isn't anyone worried about their cholestrol?

As for the ratios, don't worry about them. As long as you keep your carb levels where they are supposed to be, you will be fine.

I average about 60-65% fat, 30% protein, and 7-8% carbs

You need to watch the carb amount. Then the protein amount because too much and your liver will convert the protein to glucose. The fat will be whatever is left. Don't sweat it. The closer to induction level carbs you are the higher that fat % will be.
