| Alright everybody, I hate to say it but poutine is WONDERFUL! Not the stuff they make in cafeterias or fast food restaurants but the REAL STUFF! Made with home cut fries (with the skin still on), real beef gravy (not a powdered mix) and fresh cheese curds. Oh my goodness!!! The small roadside chip stands in Quebec do this best. The key is fresh ingredients and real potatoes! Now, I have sworn off poutine in my new woe and all I have to say about that is I'm glad I don't live in Quebec because it would be a lot harder. Hm... they do sound pretty tasty, though I guess I'm glad I'm not that close to Upland. Bon (AKA Hopeful in Hollywood) 210/181/165 Atkins since 12/15/02 |
