hi there,
well i've posted a couple of times - mainly to complain about my slow weight loss, etc. well i'd like to apologize for all the whining! and also let you know that the scale dropped again today - and i'm happy! i know it's not the only indicator of success, but i feel good ... and the weight loss can just be added to my list of benefits realized by this WOE. i also understand now that since i don't have much to lose, the weight is going to come off slower. which is just fine with me! have a fabulous, low carb weekend!

We love epiphanies. Glad you've seen the light. You'll do well with the new attitude.

Best wishes.

Good job on coming to terms with the fact of life "little weight.. slow loss". You should be very proud of yourself... sometimes it takes years and sometimes never for people to figure it out and settle with the idea.

Congrats on the scale drop and keep on movin! You are doing well!

Don't worry about the whining - that's what we're here for. Look, you stuck it out and met with success. Maybe being able to share your feelings with us helped you to do that.

cgilson,

We started at about the same weight and are sitting about the same weight. Whining is fine we all need to do it from time to time. It keeps me from giving up and eating the wrong thing.

Glad that the scale went down for you. It finally went down for me again. One thing I keep thinking about is what % have I lost not how many pounds. You have already lost 27% or more than a quarter of what you need to lose.

Good luck
