Erin and Pepperann... if it is any consolation... I am also a slow loser (I like to tell people that my metabolism is as close to stopped as it could be without actually going backwards)

In my first Induction (and I was incredibly 'by-the-book') I lost 6 pounds (DH lost 11 ) By the time I was down 23 pounds I have lost 19 inches - 19 inches - off of EVERYTHING!! upper arms, bust, waist, hips, thighs even CALVES!

I measured once a week, Mondays, when I weighed in. I did it on Monday's because it helped keep me focused on the weekends knowing I would have to weigh in on Monday!

I went from a size 14 to a size 8... and the eight's very comfortable. I admit I am back up some pounds after a brutal holiday season and lots of overseas travel - but I'm close to the 8s again - and I hope that once I get closer to goal I might even see 6s!!

Measure - Measure - Measure!

Hugs,
Rachel

Hi there!

You've found an "Information Only" thread.

These threads are not checked frequently, since we didn't anticipate getting questions here. We just noticed that some people ARE posting questions, so we're closing the thread to new posts.

Your questions are important to us and we don't want any being overlooked!

So, if you have questions, visit the main forum area. Click Here to get there! Browse around the different forums and see if there's a discussion going on which addresses your question and jump on in!

But the BEST way to get responses that address your particular concern is to start your own thread.

If you'd like to start your own thread with a question or comment, just go to the forum of your choice. At the top left hand side, you'll see a button which says "New." When you click it, a menu will come down. Here, you choose "Topic."

A box will come up with two windows to fill in. The top one is where you give your thread a title. Like "What kind of scale to buy?" or "Need help calculating net carbs." The bottom window is where you post your question or comment.

Have a great day!

We look forward to your posts!

Maggie

I am convinced the scale is EVIL. I put on a pair of jeans that haven't fit me in 9 months and they fit perfect. Funny thing...the scale hasn't moved at all. I took out the tape measure and I lost 3 inches from my waist...Wow!
