| I'm finished with induction tomorrow, and have lost 13 lbs. thus far, and feel great!!! Now what? I know I continue adding a few more carbs each week in the form of veggies, cheese, berries, etc. But will my body remain in ketosis as I progress over the next month? One strange tid-bit to report: I have never been a chocolate lover or eater, but I have some overwheling cravings for chocolate now. I could make a whole Toblerone bar disappear in a matter of minutes! I have not given in to it, and drink a big glass of water every time the urge hits (water is a quick stomach filler- upper), but I found this craving to be strange nontheless. |

| COONGRATS 13 lbs in 2 weeks you are doing great. Yes, your body will remain in ketosis but you weight loss will slow down. I find that this is the time you begin to find the natural food you love to eat that is LC. So try different food, different weeks until you figure out what makes you stay on the LC WOE. For me Extra sharp cheddar cheese helped be get past my craving for chips. Chips are blan when placed head to head with extra shart cheddar cheese. So find you favorite food. I found that LC dark chocolate worked for me when I suddenly had a craving for candy. I also don't eat a lot of candy so when I would get it is was strange. But you method of water seems to work just as well. Be careful of the LC packaged products and read all the labels for ingredients. Stay healthy and happy. travellost-51 yrs Young 1/20/03 195/145 first time 1/5/04 second time 150/145/135 "I am allergic to carbs they make me break out in fat" |
