Have you checked with your pharmacist?

I haven't, I assumed it would be over the counter. I will though. Has anyone used this?

"Policosanol" refers to a group of solid alcohols derived from sugar cane wax. Octacosanol is the major constituent of policosanol. Octacosanol, I thought, was mainly sold to reduce cholesterol. At any rate it is an OTC supplement, but not a common one. A google search will turn up some places to order it, I'm sure.

I've no experience, however, so cannot say if it is effective, either for fatigue or anything else.

I suggested asking the pharmacist because s/he is most likely to know what OTC products their drug store carries or at least point you to another local source.
I do know that the Atkins site sells it online.

There are so many reasons for fatigue, but Barb is right. If you are not getting enough of the B vitamins, you will be fatigued. You'd be surprised how much the B vitamins are involved in metabolism.
