I have 50-60 lbs to lose and hubby has 100 plus. He won't weigh and that is his issue. Anyone else out there in a similar situation?

It's not necessary to weigh in order to start a healthy eating plan. Is he in denial about being overweight, period?

No he isn't in denial. Our scale won't weigh him so there is no way to know if he is a 10 lbs or 50 lbs over what our scale weighs. He is a big man anyway 6'3 and just built large. So it is hard to gauge. I am sure it is depressing for him to know that he is somewhere over that 350 mark.
When I first began, I weighed myself on the freight scale at work because my bathroom scale wouldn't register high enough. Once I finally got the nerve to "face the number," it wasn't really so bad. I started at 352 pounds.
After that, I only weighed once per month and I'm glad I did. Daily weight fluctuations are frustrating, to say the least.
It was a very happy day one cold morning in my bathroom when I stepped on the digital scale and my weight registered 275. And then the subsequent month, 263, et cetera.
