I've tried the Keto brand oatmeal (I bought it at GNC) and it actually isn't that bad. I add boiling water to the mix along with some heavy cream and one packet of Splenda. It's a great change from eggs!

Gilley - I really like the carb countdown "white" milk - My husband does, too, and he was an enormous milk drinker before starting Atkins. (I used to be, but since the birth of my first son, I almost never drink milk - hmmmm.)

I have tried the pre-packaged oatmeal, but for my money (and tastebuds), the best deal going is Maggie's breakfast cereal (it's here in the recipe section, under breakfast). So yummy.

The chocolate is my favorite and my kids for just drinking. I love the thick, rich feel in my mouth.

The white is thick and creamy feeling too, but the taste is wonderful in cereal. My kids use it w/no complaints. They will not drink the LC soy milk.

I love that stuff!

The 2% reduced fat is also good. Don't care for the fat free one.

I agree that the 2% or whole fat milk is the way to go. I use s.f. chocolate syrup in it for the occasional chocolate milk.

Has anyone tried CCM with s/f syrups? I haven't yet, just wondering how it tastes. I have Soy Slender milk and need to try that with it too.

Does anyone know how soy products are on the Carb count? I'm thinking about doing that so that my boyfriend (a vegan) and I can actually use some of the same products at his house!

Soy milk tends to be very low in carbs, because there is also fiber in it. My Soy Slender, sweetened with Splenda, made by Westsoy, is 1 Net Carb per 8 oz. cup. I believe its 5 grams of carbs and 4 grams of fiber. Carb Countdown is quite low too, but it DOES contain REAL milk.

I like the Carb Countdown Chocolate milk warm, too (lazy man's hot cocoa). I fancy mine up, though.

1/3rd of the cup cold coffee, 2/3rd of the cup CC Chocolate milk, 1 teaspoon DaVinci SF vanilla syrup and a splash of whole cream. Then zap it in the micro-nuker for 60 seconds, let set, stir, then enjoy.

Hmmmm.....

Yes, the choco milk goes great in a cup of coffee! I've been doing that at work lately but try to not have it every day. Otherwise I'll have another bad habit to break!
