What is the carb/protein/fat ratio supposed to look like?

So I'm induction and I've done this before... read the books and done lots of research about LC eating.... but I don't know if I've ever seen any talk about the Fat and Protein ratios. I know that 20 is the key number for induction with carbs... but are there numbers for the other two?

I wanted to throw this up with the first message... my intake today is(I plan in advance):
1972 calories
18 carbs
147 g protein
143 g Fat

67% comes from fat, 3% from carbs, and 31% from protein....Is this a good ratio to have?

Mine tends to be about 68% fat, 28% protein, and 4% carbs--it varies up to 7% carbs depending on how much fiber I have.

A very, very good question. I too track all my numbers and would be very interested to know what the ultimate breakout is supposed to look like. I generally run over 70% fat and under 4% carbs. I'm doing this intentionally because of some stuff I've read about stored fat loss being accelerated when a high fat diet is consumed. So far, it's working well though I can't imagine it being something I can do forever.

I try to keep the fats over 60%, the carbs under 25...the rest I don't worry about

Same here, except I'm at 45 carbs now.
If my fat % falls below 60, I don't lose as well and I eat too much.

When I saw a carb percentage of 3% I knew you had gone back on induction. generally my carbs run about 7 to 8%. Fats vary depending on the type of protein I eat. In weeks where I make a turkey breast (and eat it for days, seemingly without end) my fat % is about 50-55%. In a Normal week with steaks and chops and fattier protein sources I probably am in the low 60's.
Don't worry about this because when you are at goal and in maintenance your carb % will probably be in the mid to upper 20's. YMMV though.

Percentage looks good, but the grams seem high to me, I guess cause I read for ME at the weight I want to be, I should eat no more than 95 grams of protein a day.... Don't know if that matters or not.
